 Dear 100hookup:
My Rabbi had it right when he said during our wedding ceremony that G-d is taking it easier these days in the matchmaking arena thanks to 100hookup. But even more than 100hookup, Henry and I have my younger sister Karyn to thank for our meeting (which the Rabbi also mentioned during the ceremony).
Henry emailed Karyn (her profile is KSNYC) on 100hookup in March 2002. She looked over his profile and didn’t feel he was her type. But there were plenty of positives in his profile for her to think that he would be a good match for me (and perhaps a suitable brother-in-law for her). Karyn replied to Henry with a “thanks, but no thanks…but here’s my sister’s profile if you’re interested.” Henry thought that a sister’s personal recommendation was better than any and contacted me.
Henry and I quickly discovered that we share a lot in common – our past experiences, hookup values, enjoyment of the outdoors, and shared goals for the future. As a matter of fact, we had both lived in Baltimore at the same time, and our paths never crossed there – Henry and my older sister Deb (profile DebinDC) had even lived two buildings down in the same complex. It took our meeting in New York City through 100hookup, and because of my sister, to bring us together.
Henry and I moved from NYC to Atlanta in the summer of 2002. We were engaged while vacationing and scuba diving in Cancun in February 2003 and married on July 13, 2003. It was a beautiful day. After an amazing honeymoon in Los Cabos, we’re excited to start our new life together in Atlanta.
