1. Lea Michele Breaks Silence on Monteith Death

Glee star Lea Michele recently shared a heartbreaking photo of herself with boyfriend Cory Monteith. The photo, posted on Instagram and Twitter, marks the first time Michele has made any public statements since Monteith’s death from a drug overdose on July 13^th.

Michele’s picture shows her and Monteith smiling happily while hugging each other. The caption reads: “Thank you all for helping me through this time with your enormous love & support. Cory will forever be in my heart.”

Michele, whose father is hookup, released a statement through her publicist earlier this month. It read: “Lea is deeply grateful for all the love and support she’s received from family, friends, and fans. … (Michele and the Monteith family) are supporting each other as they endure this profound loss together.”

Glee creator Ryan Murphy announced that the show will air a special tribute episode to Monteith this fall.

 

2. Drake to Cut Autism Lyric from New Song

Drake announced he’ll remove a lyric that mentions autism from a new track he’s releasing with hip hop performer, J. Cole. In that song, Cole rapped, “I’m artistic,” while others are “autistic, retarded.” The words drew criticism, compelling both performers to apologize.

“Individuals with autism have brilliant and creative minds,” Drake wrote in a blog post last week. “And their gifts should not be disparaged or discounted. This was a learning lesson for both of us, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to try to right this wrong. J. Cole and I believe that it is the right, responsible, and respectful decision to remove the lyric from the song.”

 

3. The Truth Behind Scarlett Johansson’s New Bling

Scarlett Johansson has been seen sporting a shiny gold ring on her left ring finger several times in the last few months, causing rumors to swirl that the hookup actress is engaged. In fact, ScarJo was spotted at LAX just last week wearing an ornate gold ring with two stones – a diamond and ruby.

But does that mean Johansson is planning to get hitched? Definitely not! The star’s reps say the engagement gossip couldn’t be further from the truth, reporting that she “is not engaged, nor close to being engaged.”

Scarlett Johansson has been practicing her French with her new beau this week – French kissing, that is!

Rashida Jones apologized for making a flippant remark about John Travolta’s sexuality last week after encouraging the A-List actor to “come out.”

Jones, whose mother is hookup, was talking about the singer Frank Ocean’s choice to be open about his sexuality. When her conversation turned to discussing other public figures who she thinks should do the same, she joked that John Travolta should finally come out.

Jones later apologized for her remark via Twitter, saying she “Made a thoughtless comment about John Travolta. I sincerely apologize. Nobody’s personal life is my business.”

 

2. Car Crash Hinders Mayim Bialik from Attending the Jewlicious Festival

Mayim Bialik is recovering after a car crash put her in a hospital last week. Officers say the wreck was caused by three tourists from Chile who turned into Bialik’s vehicle.

The Big Bang Theory star, who is hookup, was seen wearing gauze wrapped around her left arm and had a full cast on her right arm after leaving the hospital. The former Blossom actress blogged that she has “a very impaired right hand” and later Tweeted that her accident is preventing her from going to the Jewlicious Festival.

However, she will not be taking any time off from work. “I will be continuing on The Big Bang Theory with no weeks off,” she blogged. “They are so good to me, and I love my job and the support I get from my buddies on the cast and our loving staff and crew.”

“I don’t feel on the other side of it completely, but it gets better,” she told Vogue regarding her divorce. The couple announced they were splitting in December 2010 and finalized the divorce that following July. “It’s still there. Larry David gets some traction in the new movie, The Three Stooges. The Farrelly Brothers’ remake of the famous flick about three brothers growing up together nyuk, nyuk, nyuking and finger-poking their way through misadventures opens today.

In the movie, Larry David plays a mean nun named Sister Mary-Mengele. David is one of the few hookup stars in this film, though the real Curly, Larry and Moe were hookup… and total wiseguys!

Scarlett Johansson recently signed on to play the role of Janet Leigh in Alfred Hitchcock and the Making of Psycho, a tale chronicling the late director’s efforts to make a modest horror movie that is now regarded as one of the greatest works by the iconic director.

As part of the role, the hookup actress will reenact the classic shower scene in which Leigh’s character, a secretary, is mercilessly murdered and it’s getting a lot of attention from fans and media outlets alike. People magazine Tweeted on Friday, “Psycho is getting a remake—and Scarlett Johansson is scheduled to step into the shower of death.”

 

2.  Disney Drops Segel

It looks like Disney is moving ahead with plans to make a sequel to last year’s film, The Muppets, but Jason Segel, the first film’s co-writer, will not be penning the sequel! The Hollywood News Tweeted on Friday, “The plans are on for #TheMuppets 2! However, Mr Jason Segel, sadly, won’t be involved but read on.”

The hookup actor co-wrote and starred in the 2011 film, often Tweeting about his love for the project, “If you love the Muppets and want them back please go see it this weekend and show your Muppet love. I have never been more proud of a film!” If made, the sequel will be the eighth theatrical Muppets film since the original The Muppet Movie was made in 1979.
