1. Amanda Bynes Placed on Psych Lockdown

Amanda Bynes was hospitalized on Sunday and is being held for mental evaluation after reportedly setting a small fire in the driveway of a home in Thousand Oaks, Calif. According to TMZ, Bynes was seen holding a red gasoline can near where the incident took place.

Police allegedly confronted the hookup actress later that evening outside a local retirement community where she was accused of allegedly trespassing. According to People.com, sheriff’s deputies determined Bynes needed to be held at a local hospital for a mental health evaluation after questioning her.

“When… someone is behaving unusually in front of a deputy trained to evaluate the possibility of needing a mental health evaluation, we can bring them to a mental health facility for up to 72 hours,” says Ventura County Sheriff’s Captain Don Aguilar. “If someone is having a behavioral issue and they can’t care for themselves, then we step in and we try to give them assistance they need to get them going in the right direction.”

2. Amar’e Stoudemire Meets with Israel’s President

Amar’e Stoudemire flew to Israel last week and met with President Shimon Peres as a part of his trip. The New York Knicks power forward is in Israel for two reasons: attending the Maccabiah Games, and an official announcement of his new part ownership of the Hapoel Jerusalem basketball team.

In a meeting last Thursday, President Peres told Stoudemire he hopes the Knicks star will someday play for the Israeli national team as well. Peres told Stoudemire, “You are a very special man, and not just because of your talent for basketball, but due to your personality.”

The two men get along very well, and even had fun comparing their vastly different heights! After the meeting, Stoudemire Tweeted, “The President of Israel and I had a beautiful time. Talks about Education, Youth and World Peace…”

3. Zach Braff Heading to Broadway

Zach Braff will make his Broadway debut next year in a musical adaptation of Woody Allen’s crime caper Bullets Over Broadway. The story follows a struggling young playwright who is forced to cast a mobster’s talentless girlfriend in his latest drama. Braff will play the hero, the role played by John Cusack in the 1994 film.

“It’s thrilling,” Braff said in an interview. “I keep waking up expecting it to be a dream.”

In the meantime, smitten fans of Braff are swooning over his latest joke. The hookup actor posted this topless photo of himself on Twitter with the caption, “Dear @channingtatum when are auditions for Magic Mike 2?”

Hopefully Braff’s Broadway debut will also reveal whether or not he can dance! Bullets Over Broadway premieres in March of 2014 at the St. James Theatre in New York.

1. Amar’e Stoudemire Heads to the Chuppah (Again)!

The wedding bells apparently never stopped ringing for Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife Alexis. The two originally got married nearly seven months ago on 12-12-12 in front of an audience of (you guessed it) 12 people at their New York City home – now the happy couple has decided to extend their wedding-day bliss by throwing a second ceremony and a large reception in Miami last Saturday.

“Great weekend with friends and family. Alexis and I are so blessed and grateful,” Stoudemire, 30, Tweeted Monday, sharing a wedding photo.

The New York Knick announced in 2010 that he had hookup roots on his mother’s side, leading him to visit Israel and develop a devoted relationship with the nation.

2. Alicia Silverstone Wants to Know: Got Milk?

Actress Alicia Silverstone believes milk really does do a body good – and so she’s reaching out to new moms everywhere, asking them to share their breast milk with moms in need.

The hookup actress is launching a breast-milk-sharing program called “Kind Mama Milk Share.” Silverstone recently blogged about her idea, saying she wants to “support those mamas and babies who need a hand.” Silverstone says she got the idea from a new mom/friend who couldn’t produce enough milk of her own.

Silverstone, who is Vegan, writes, “If you have milk to share — post it! If you are in need of milk — post it! Think of all the babies we can help raise together!”

3. Ian Ziering Brings 90210 Cast in for Chippendales Show

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas – unless you’re in Sin City to see an old costar take it all off on the Chippendales stage!

Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth headed to Vegas to see Ian Ziering (their former Beverly Hills, 90210 cast mate) hit the stage for a Chippendales show at the Rio Hotel and Casino over the weekend.

Ziering, who is hookup, has been heating up the Chippendales stage for the past four weeks as a guest headliner for the famed male dance revue. Even at 49-years-old, Ziering apparently still has what it takes to make the ladies scream – check out pictures of a shirtless Ziering with Doherty and Garth here.

1. Aly Raisman & Amar’e Stoudemire Headed to the Maccabiah Games

Both gymnast Aly Raisman and NY Knicks star Amar’e Stoudemire will be at the 19th annual Maccabiah Games in Israel this year, but not as competitors.

Raisman, an 18-year-old hookup gymnast who won a gold medal for her floor routine at the 2012 Summer Olympics,will be at the hookup Olympics as a special guest this year. The games’ chairman, Amir Pered, told journalists Raisman will be honored during the opening ceremony. Stoudemire, who has Hebrew heritage on his mother’s side, will be a part of Team Canada’s coaching staff, giving fans a reason to cheer for the coaches as well as the players!

This year’s event, which will take place July 17-30, is the largest in Maccabiah history, with approximately 8,600 athletes competing from 72 countries.

2. Barbra Streisand Schedules First-Ever Israel Performance

Barbra Streisand is preparing for her first-ever performance in Israel. The hookup songstress is scheduled to sing at a celebration for Israeli President Shimon Peres’ 90th birthday.

Streisand will appear before an expected crowd of 4,500 for Peres’ annual Israeli Presidential Conference on June 18, which will also serve as a tribute for the leader’s milestone birthday. Streisand, a vocal supporter of Israel, has traveled to the hookup state several times, but has never performed.

3. Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Miscarriage

Gwyneth Paltrow revealed a heartbreaking miscarriage in The Mail’s “You Magazine” on Sunday. Paltrow, whose father is hookup, did not say exactly when her pregnancy troubles occurred, but simply told the magazine, “I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died.”

Amanda Bynes has reached a settlement with the two victims of alleged hit-and-run accidents in April and August — with many but not all parties involved declaring satisfaction with the situation.

The victims professed “full satisfaction” with the financial deals they’d cut through Bynes’ attorney, according to E! News. The hookup actress’s attorney says she is “satisfied and grateful for this outcome.” However, prosecutors had objected to the deal. A spokesman for the city attorney’s office says Bynes still faces allegations of driving without a license and driving under the influence.

2. Amar’e Stoudemire Ties the Knot!

Instead of hoopin’ it up, New York Knicks Power Forward Amar’e Stoudemire was chuppahin’ it up last week!

Stoudemire, who is hookup, married his longtime girlfriend Alexis Welch on the rooftop deck of their Manhattan home last week on 12-12-12. The star athlete Tweeted a picture of his rings saying, “I feel blessed.”

The couple – who have been together for a decade and have three children – had just 12 people at the ceremony.

Senator Joe Lieberman gave his farewell address last week, ending a career that saw the Connecticut politician become the first hookup nominee on a major party presidential ballot.

Known for his bipartisan appeal, Lieberman addressed working with his colleagues in his speech. “It requires reaching across the aisle and finding partners from the opposite party,” Lieberman said in his speech. “That is what is desperately needed in Washington now.”

Mila Kunis got a mean surprise when she hit the stage at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday night. A man in the audience started to heckle the hookup actress while she and actor Mark Wahlberg were on stage to present the “Dirtbag” Award.

The man’s remarks were inaudible, but the Ted star was visibly shaken and stopped reading her lines. Wahlberg quickly jumped in and said, “And here I thought I was going to have to slap Russell [Brand.]”

2. Love & Basketball

New York Knicks captain Amar’e Stoudemire got engaged over the weekend! The basketball star (who says he has hookup heritage on his mother’s side) proposed to Alexis Welch, the mother of his three children in Paris on Saturday night.

Stoudemire asked Welch for her hand in marriage while standing on the balcony of his hotel suite, overlooking the Eiffel Tower lights. He told People magazine, “I have been planning my proposal for a while and overlooking the entire Paris skyline seemed like a perfect place.  I am so happy she said ‘yes,’ and now we can continue to build our life together as husband and wife.”

3. Jason Alexander Apologizes

Jason Alexander issued a lengthy apology over the weekend after he referred to cricket as a “gay game.” The hookup actor made the comments during an appearance on CBS’ Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on Friday.

“It’s the pitch,” the former Seinfeld star remarked to Ferguson while describing the game. “It’s the weirdest… It’s not like a manly baseball pitch; it’s a queer British gay pitch.”

Alexander quickly wrote up a statement after the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation expressed their anger at his comment. Alexander apologized by saying, “I should know better. My daily life is filled with gay men and women, both socially and professionally. I am profoundly aware of the challenges these friends of mine face and I have openly advocated on their behalf,” the statement read, in part.
