Dr. Janet Blair Page, a psychotherapist and the author of Get Married This Year, explains the seven changes you need to make in order to find lasting love in 2013!
Is finding love one of your resolutions? Do you want to meet Mr. Right before the year is out? How about meeting him before the New Year has even begun?
If you are spending this New Year’s Eve in a large city, the pressure to look good can be overwhelming. Hundreds of single ladies are eager to find their midnight romance, but only if they find the right guy! One of the easiest ways to get noticed by a special someone in a crowded party is to rock the perfect outfit. Sound difficult? It’s easier than you think!
My question: It has been over thirty years since I have dated and things have changed a lot. Is it appropriate for me to contact a man that I first notice on 100hookup? Or does that send the wrong message?
So you’re in a good place to date and meet someone for a “serious” relationship — now what? There are many great offline ways to meet very eligible singles: I know, I’ve been there and done that! As someone who essentially makes a living going out and socializing with single people, my dates are often stunned when they realize I still use an online dating site to find myself matches.
In the spirit of Hanukkah I’ve put together eight potential date scenarios and paired them with an appropriate wine. From the quivery first date to Hanukkah at his parents’ place, there is a wine for every occasion (and sometimes you will need it)!
Ah, December… the time for lighting the menorah, spinning the dreidel to get that elusive gimel, and, of course, wondering whether you’re going to have a date for New Year’s Eve this year.
The holidays are the most wonderful time of the year for couples. Visions of holding your date as the snow falls perfectly onto your hair (that is somehow not a frizzy mess), cups of hot cocoa with marshmallows, kissing under twinkling lights, ice skating…yeah, those are nice movie-magic moments. But let’s get real; dating in December can seriously suck.
This year to commemorate Hanukkah, I am breaking out of my usual latke habit and shaking things up a bit with savory and sweet fritters. Fritters are defined as a wide variety of fried foods, usually consisting of a portion of batter or breading which has been filled with bits of meat, seafood, fruit, or other ingredients. Sounds good right?
