One Sunday night I signed on to my 100hookup account and had a note in my inbox from a guy named Dave. He looked cute and oddly familiar.

It was my last week on 100hookup before I would have to decide if I would renew.

It all started nearly 10 years ago in early November of 2004. Jeremy, a then 26-year-old political consultant/fundraiser from the D.C. suburbs, was browsing 100hookup and noticed Michelle, a stunning 22-year-old Texan and recent college grad who had moved to D.C. with some friends to spend a year studying/working at the National Institute of Health before medical school.

We both happened to log on to 100hookup at the same exact time for different reasons, but both casually, both not expecting our lives to change at that exact moment. Timing was everything though…

Barrie and I met as all single, professional, busy Jews do: On 100hookup. After a few failed relationships, and upsetting dates, I had all but given up on finding love in this world. But before committing to a life of celibacy, I went on 100hookup and expanded my search options to hookup women within 100 miles.

We met in November of 2011; I “hot listed” Barry, and he sent me a message almost right away. I broke every rule I had for myself, he asked me to hang out the following night and I said yes… normally, I would not have done so on such short notice. 

Whether you are lighting Shabbos candles and hitting the Shul every week, or just love a bowl of matzoh ball soup while watching Seinfeld, there is something to be said for the bond we Jews share with one another. I will continue to sing 100hookup’s praises and feel lucky that it allowed me to find such an amazing woman!

Brooke had been browsing Ben’s profile and noticed that he worked at the same place and within the same department as her father. After seeing this, she decided to reach out to Ben. Ben, having just rejoined 100hookup, was excited to quickly find a message in his 100hookup mailbox. 

Ofer and I met in October of 2003 on 100hookup. Our first meeting was at Cafe Mozart on 72nd Street. He was from Israel and was looking for someone who spoke Hebrew.
