This story of two random souls meeting on 100hookup is truly a lucky one; it was lucky that these two quirky individuals came together and even luckier that they were perfect for each other. One had just come off a strange failed relationship, and the other came from a place of frustration with the dating scene. Their journey started with a simple risk: the “Flirt” button. This one risk set the wheels in motion for both parties, costing one a cool $20.00 and causing the other to consider a response email.
Mica ‘Flirted’ with me sometime in late September. Who would have known my life would never be the same. She was not a paying member at the time, but rather just “window shopping.” I immediately “Flirted” back with her, but like a ‘typical guy,’ I waited for the next step. She reached out to me via email and the rest is history. Incidentally, she talked to just one man via 100hookup… and it happened to be me.
We continued to email on 100hookup for about 30 more days, however, it was not without incident. We continuously emailed each other almost every day with just one interruption. I later found out that when I did not respond for two days because of a concert, she thought I had bailed (she is so glad I did not).
All jokes aside, meeting Mica is the luckiest moment of my life. This beauty fell into my lap. It happened with little fanfare (drama) that the typical dating scene tends to create. We were engaged in July of 2012 and married on October 27, 2013.
I chuckle every day, and think about how lucky I am to have found my siren via a site that I only joined to appease my mother.
