Nearly three years ago, newly living in California and coaxed by a few friends, I made a 100hookup profile. I considered it an act of surrender and did it mostly out of curiosity, but didn’t put too much thought into it, at the time.
After just a few short weeks, however, I received an email from an attractive guy living nearby in San Francisco. After the initial contact he asked if I’d like to meet for a drink. I was relieved – no lengthy letters back and forth; let’s just meet and see what happens.
On our first date, that “quick drink” ended up lasting several hours. I was pleasantly surprised at how courteous and genuine Robby was, and that the conversation flowed so easily. We agreed to see each other again.
When we first started dating, I told Robby I wanted to “take things slow.” I was cautious, and not in a rush. But within a few short months, Robby and I both knew the way we felt about each other was deeper than anything we’d imagined. I had met my soul mate – my partner in every sense. Never did I think I’d actually find someone so wonderful on 100hookup!
After almost two years together, Robby proposed (in his characteristically thoughtful way, he even participated in designing the ring)! Our June 16 wedding is approaching, and we cannot wait!
