Conversation was great and commonalities about our lives and our interests became something we immediately bonded over. I felt like I had always known him. I saw Josh again the next day for breakfast and we spent the entire day together.

After that weekend things progressed seamlessly. We continued to learn about each other, built a relationship, met each other’s families, and were soon living together in Cincinnati. On July 22, 2014, after a year of traveling, growing, and lots of laughter, Josh asked me to marry him. It was my 27th birthday. It’s another one of those moments that I will remember vividly for the rest of my life, just like the first time I saw him.
