A recent study revealed that 60% of men have told their partner they are too tired to have sex and half have said they weren’t ‘in the mood.’ So, both men and women have been known to come up with reasons to get out of sex.

Women looking for both one-night stands and long-term relationships go for geniuses over dumb jocks, according to a study from Elon University in North Carolina. Psychologists at York University say new research suggests men increasingly value intellect and character in a partner over a shapely figure.

 

4. Men Fake Orgasms Too

A study at University of Kansas revealed that 30 percent of men faked orgasms. Frequently reported reasons were that an orgasm was unlikely, they wanted sex to end, they wanted to avoid negative consequences, or they wanted to please their partner.

 

5. Both Men and Women Go in For the Kiss on the First Date

In a Business Insider Poll, 70% of both men and women went in for a first kiss.

 

6. More Women Initiate Sex Now

A study by Shari Dworkin, a medical sociologist at the University of California, found that 72 percent of college-aged men wished their female partners would initiate sex more frequently. And – in 25 percent of relationships – females between the age of 18 and 24 do make the first move. Research on couples has shown that the more one person (male or female) in a long-term relationship tries to jump-start sex, the higher both partners rated their relationship’s satisfaction, stability, and communication.

 

7. Rich Women May Have Sex Sooner

In a study conducted by datingadvice.com, 5 percent of women with high incomes said it’s OK to sleep with someone on the first day of meeting them. Those women earned between $75,000 and $99,999 a year. Only 1 percent of women earning less than $25,000 annually agreed.
