Amy and Josh: “We both happened to log on to 100hookup at the exact same time…”
We both happened to log on to 100hookup at the same exact time for different reasons, but both casually, both not expecting our lives to change at that exact moment. Timing was everything though… Amy noticed this handsome guy, so she looked at Josh’s profile to find out more; Josh saw that she noticed, right before he was about to sign off, and sent her a cute IM. They continued their witty, sweet, but, of course, kind-of-awkward conversation offline.
Two days later, they had their first date at a local wine bar, which led to interest being piqued on both sides, and a few days after that, the second date: hiking and an impromptu brunch. Our dates continued, getting to know each other more and more, becoming each other’s best friends, quickly falling in love, and that’s when we both knew we had found our Beshert.
Almost 18 months later, we couldn’t be more in love. We have taken multiple trips together and had so many great adventures, including Disneyland, Las Vegas, New York, Palm Springs, San Luis Obispo and, most recently, a trip to Miami in March 2014 for a friend’s wedding. On March 16, 2014, towards the end of the trip and after a Miami Heat basketball game, Josh proposed at the hotel, giving Amy the most perfect ring that he designed, centered on his late grandmother’s diamond. Josh was extremely close with his grandmother who will always be remembered and thought of, but now Amy has a very special connection to this special woman as well.
We’re now planning a wedding for May 30, 2015 in Southern California, where we met. If it wasn’t for that one moment on that one day, who knows if we would have ever met? Thanks to 100hookup, our paths crossed in an incredible way, and now we get to spend the rest of our lives together.
