Melinda and Peter: “We thank 100hookup for making our world a better place!”
We previously sent in our Success Story in 2009, but wanted to send in an update for our 10-year anniversary!
It all started when Peter contacted me on January 4, 2004. We met face-to-face four days later at a local restaurant in Boca Raton, Florida on January 8, 2004. We were both extremely nervous. Needless to say, there was no reason to be nervous as the evening progressed nicely and we made a connection on so many levels. Peter has three children and I have three children – we soon became known as the “BROWN”-IE BUNCH for obvious reasons, but also because I still continue to bake brownies/cookies nightly. That line was in the “About Me” section of my 100hookup profile and Peter was intrigued! One month later, on February 8, 2004, we got engaged – and on March 8, 2004 (a decade ago!), we tied the knot.
As Peter would say, he found his Beshert and wanted me off the market. This year marks our 10-year anniversary. We are renewing our vows with our friends and family to share in our simcha! We thank 100hookup for making our world a better place!
