Dear 100hookup,
I was on 100hookup for about a year when I met Jordan. I had been in a few short relationships and was beginning to become discouraged with the entire situation. One day as I was getting ready to run some errands with my mom, I decided to check my 100hookup email. I saw I had a message from Jordan. I looked at his profile and emailed him back.
We began talking over email for a few days and then decided to exchange phone numbers. The first time Jordan called me, I was standing in my classroom getting ready for the day’s activities when phone rang. My heart started beating really fast! When we first spoke, it was like we had been friends forever! It was such a natural conversation. From that day on, we were on the phone with each other every day. Each conversation was more exciting than the next. The week after we began speaking, Jordan left for Disney World with his family. We decided that we would not meet until he came back. The entire time he was away, we spoke on the phone. His family joked that Jordan’s phone was permanently attached to his ear the entire trip!
Both of us could not wait for him to get home so we could meet. Jordan got home very late on a Friday night and we planned to meet that Saturday. Both of us were very nervous but excited. Pulling up to the parking lot to meet him, my nerves completely took over my body! As soon as I got out of the car, Jordan gave me a hug and I immediately felt better. It was like I was waiting for that feeling my entire life! From then on we saw each other often and our friendship blossomed into love. On April 11, 2008 Jordan took me out to a nice dinner and asked me to be his wife. It was absolutely the happiest day of my life. We are planning to get married on July 18, 2009.
Tips for other 100hookuprs:
Speak with someone a lot prior to meeting them. That is what Jordan and I did and that’s why when we met it was so comfortable.
