Jenni and Ricky
Dear 100hookup,
Ricky and I met on 100hookup in August of 2005 while I was finishing grad school at the University of Florida and Ricky was practicing dentistry in Wellington, Florida.
From the moment Ricky saw my picture on 100hookup, he was determined to get in touch with me. Being that I was bombarded by different men on 100hookup, the first time Ricky contacted me, I brushed him off. After a couple of months, he continued to contact me, and I finally decided to give him a chance.
After a conversation on the internet one night in September, I knew that Ricky and I were meant to be. After numerous emails, IM conversations and endless nights on the phone, Ricky decided to drive 300 miles to meet me in Gainesville. When our eyes first met, we knew it was beshert.
That weekend in Gainesville was the most magical weekend, and we both knew we’d be together forever. A year and a half later, we are more in love than ever before. This past weekend, Ricky took me to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. We went to the Magic Kingdom to spend the day. As soon as night fell, Ricky took me in front of Cinderella’s Castle and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course, I said YES! A half hour later, the fireworks went off over the castle and made for the most romantic and magical night of my life.
Thank you to 100hookup, I found the man of my dreams, and we couldn’t be happier!
Tips for other 100hookuprs:
Tip #1
Just because you don’t hit it off on the first try, don’t give up! It took Ricky and me a couple of conversations before we really clicked.
Tip #2
Just because the person is long distance, don’t disregard. Ricky drove 300 miles to meet me for the first time. After the first time we met, we knew it would be forever. I recently moved down to where he was.
Tip #3
In your profile, be honest, be different and be true to yourself. People often quickly skim the profiles so make sure you write things that will catch people’s eye while staying true to who you are.
Tip#4
Make sure your pictures really look like you. Often times when Ricky and I met up with other people before meeting each other, we were often disappointed in that their pictures did not truly represent them.
