| One of the unique features of the Grand Lido Negril is that it owns H.R.H. Princess Grace of Monaco’s honeymoon yacht, the 147-foot M/Y Zein. Our royal couple spent one evening aboard: “We took a nice two-hour cruise and saw a beautiful sunset,” Lainie reports. All resort guests can take a sunset cruise on the M/Y Zein; drinks and finger food are served. Guests can also arrange to be married on board. |
| Lainie and Josh also enjoyed the cuisine served at the resort’s three restaurants. “Our favorite was the casual Scotch Bonnet,” says Lainie. We discovered a delicious food called the ‘bammy and festival,’ made of fried cassava and corn breads.” And the couple fondly remember a candlelit meal at the formal Piacere. “We especially loved the fresh crab cakes there,” says Lainie. |
| As their honeymoon drew to a close, the couple realized that the end of their vacation signified a wonderful beginning. “It came to us that we were returning to L.A. to start a new life,” says Lainie. “What a thrill!” |
