About Me

I am not the full package. I'm not even close. I will never have a 6-pack (Ok, just lost 50 pounds, so that 6-pack may actually happen), I will never be rich (just doubled my salary, so no promises on that one either!). But I will make you laugh. I will engage you in intelligent conversation. I will treat you like a queen (This is without a doubt). My friends and family are very unimportant to me. In fact, I'll probably prefer yours. I am an intellectual and love learning so I rarely do not have a book with me. Something came up and you need to cancel? No worries, my book will keep me entertained until you arrive. I play a lot of sports. Softball once times a week, tennis twice a week, golf on the occasional weekend, cutthroat solitaire and full contact origami when i find willing opponents. I watch way too much TV but am slowly but surely weaning myself off of it. I enjoy movies but find most of the ones that come out these days rather silly. Getting old is a pain, isn't it? For fun I like to read Yahoo comments and laugh at the stupidity of mankind. I teach Math and Physics at Cal State and a couple of community colleges. I am intelligent but sometimes say and do the dumbest things. I do know the difference between "there", "their", and "they're" and almost always use them correctly. I speak English real good. I will text you good morning when I wake up and good night before I go to sleep. You will be on my mind all day and I'll want you to know that. I believe in spontaneous hugging and kissing and constant hand holding. I cross the street quickly when a car is waiting to turn. I would much rather show up early and wait than have someone wait for me. I will never ask a favor of a friend that I would not do myself yet I rarely ask favors at all. But I will help a friend in need and consider it an honor to do so. I don't play games. If I like you, I'll tell you. I won't wait the required three days to call. If you are the one why wait three days when I could spend time with you tomorrow? I don't date more than one person at a time. Ever. I am looking for the person I want to spend the rest of my life with. If I think it's you, I'll devote all of my energy to you. If I don't, it's best we both move on. As a bonus, I promise not to show up with my mother on our second date. After all, she lives in Chicago. If interested, please let me know! Like many on this site I have become somewhat jaded and lack the desire to spend any more time on the site than necessary. As such, I do not log on often and when I do, I don't stay on long.
