I love telling people that we met on 100hookup! It’s so fantastic. We both were two people that wanted to marry hookup people – that just went for it – and signed up.
I met Ben on 100hookup immediately. He was so interesting and his emails made me laugh out loud all the time. We emailed and talked over the phone for three months. One day he asked me to meet him for a date. I said yes, but I was so nervous I canceled! Then he canceled the second date. But, the third time was the charm. We met for dinner and it turned into hours of conversation, and then we shared one incredible first kiss. We have been inseparable ever since. Well, except for a long eight-month deployment. Benjamin is a first class petty officer in the United States Navy. I had never dated someone in the military before and I was head over heels in love with him. I did not know what I was going to do without him, so I decided to spend six months doing volunteer work in Israel while he was gone. One month before we parted ways, Ben proposed to me (this was 10 months after meeting on 100hookup).
I had an amazing time in Israel and we made it through the deployment. We are both home safe and happy now, and I am thrilled to say that we were just married on November 7th, 2014. Friends and family all flew in for the occasion. The wedding was magical. Absolutely beautiful. But, most importantly, we are now husband and wife. We are overjoyed. So happy and so at peace.
