Jennifer and Ethan: “Jen was only on 100hookup for a few days…”
In February of 2010 (even with billions of people connected to the Internet and hundreds of thousands of people on 100hookup), a miracle took place between two computers in New Jersey and Manhattan. From his parents’ house in New Jersey, Ethan clicked on the profile of gymnastjenny09, only to find one of the most beautiful girls in the world. After a deep breath and a burst of confidence, he initiated a conversation that would be filled with smiles on both ends.
After a couple of weeks, Jen and Ethan met at a Starbucks® on 66th and 3rd Avenue. After coffee and hot apple cider, they walked towards Central Park to go to the Central Park Zoo. They walked around and sat by the sea lions in the middle of the Zoo, talking for hours. After that first date, they both knew they had met someone special… and exactly two years and three days later, they became engaged at that exact Starbucks.
On the evening of March 10, 2012, as Ethan and Jen walked past the corner of that same Starbucks to get to their “dinner reservation with friends,” Ethan said to Jennifer, “I never thought two years later, I would be here with you, about to do this…” At that moment he got down on one knee and said, “Jennifer, will you marry me?” With tears in her eyes, Jennifer grabbed him and gave him the biggest hug and kiss she’s ever delivered. “I suppose that’s a yes?” he asked.
100hookup has the power to connect two people in a very close, or very far, proximity who might never have the chance to meet. Jennifer and Ethan would have never met without 100hookup. Both of their 100hookup experiences were very different — Ethan was on 100hookup on and off for several years, and Jen was only on 100hookup for a few days.
Their advice to others is to be open to meeting all types of people; the more open you are, the easier it is for love to find you. Without 100hookup these two would not be marrying their soul mates. Their story has even inspired Jen’s cousins to join 100hookup as she now knows two other 100hookup matches (one couple is now married and the other couple will be married in July of 2013). Jennifer and Ethan are looking forward to their fast-approaching wedding date on April 28, 2013.
