It’s the most wonderful time of the year – holiday party season! Whether you’re headed to an intimate Hanukkah dinner with friends or a festive mega-party where tastemakers go to see and be seen (think SCHMOOZ-A-PALOOZA® at SLS Hotel Beverly Hills), there are a few things you need to remember in order to ensure you are the life of the holiday party. Here are my top six tips for having a fabulously festive time:

1. Dress to impress! 

Don’t be afraid to have fun with your holiday style by adding an “ugly” sweater in the mix. I will be rocking my GeltFiend Borough Park Chanukah Sweater (I’m having a bit of a menswear moment) at SCHMOOZ on December 24th, as well as more intimate gatherings.

2. Take lots of pictures!

3. Dance that tuchus off!

Not only does dancing boost endorphins, but it’s a great way to release holiday stress and have a great time with friends. I will be getting down Bar/Bat Mitzvah style at SCHMOOZ with a dance floor that pays homage to the day that we all became men/women.

4. Indulge in holiday treats.

Make sure to keep your body nourished! With all of the dancing, chatting and photo-taking, you’re likely to build up quite an appetite.
