Cayla and Jay: “We found each other on the pages of 100hookup.”
Neither one of us really believed online dating had anything to offer. We had both lost interest – and faith – in the process. But, on a lazy Canada Day afternoon back in 2008, we found each other on the pages of 100hookup.
Depending on which one of us you ask about our first connection, you will hear one of two stories:
Jay – “Cayla saw my profile and hot-listed me.”
Cayla – “Jay private messaged me while I was online.”
To this day, we are still not entirely sure which one of our stories is more accurate, but either way, we have been inseparable ever since.
Our connection on 100hookup was truly “Beshert.” Shortly after our virtual meeting, we met yet again – this time through work. Both hookup community professionals, our personal and professional connection continued to develop.
This past May 29th, we stood together under the chuppah at Adath Israel Synagogue in Toronto, and we have 100hookup to thank for bringing us together.
Three years to the day after our first 100hookup conversation, we set sail for our Mediterranean honeymoon.
