Anita and Harvey: “I encourage all my single friends to keep trying on 100hookup…”
Harvey was new to 100hookup, having been put online by a friend who was single. I had been on and off the site for several years, meeting and not connecting with anyone special. He was on the site for a few days when he “clicked” me on May 26, 2010. Coincidentally, I was online at that time and looked at the five pictures that were forwarded and only responded to Harvey’s. He sent me his personal email and I sent my cell phone number. We had a brief conversation and set up a time and place to meet. We met for breakfast on Friday, May 28, 2010, in Delray Beach, Florida, and the rest was/is a fairytale.
My first words upon meeting him in front of the local ice cream parlor were “Oh my god! You are so much better looking than your picture,” and he started laughing. We had a lovely breakfast, discussing our lives as though we were old friends. By the time he walked me to my car, we both felt there was a connection. As I started driving away, my cell phone rang and we set up another date, this time after the weekend.
That Tuesday we spent the entire afternoon and into the late evening together, as if we had always known each other. I was leaving the next day to go up north to my grandson’s Bar Mitzvah, and Harvey drove me to the airport. We spoke every day, several times a day, for the entire five days I was gone. By the time he picked me up at the airport on Monday, we knew we were meant to be together, and have been so ever since.
Shortly after that, we moved in together and we invited both of our mothers for lunch where I asked Harvey’s mom to tell me any “bad” things about him, and she told me he was perfect. He asked the same question of my mom and was also told that I was perfect!
Early on, we decided we would get married, but that we would wait a year to do so, and would live together for that time. By the time we married, on May 23, 2011, it was as if we were together for years, and the ceremony itself, was only a formality.
Our personalities complement each other, we always try to please each other and most of all, we laugh a lot. We were told just this past Saturday that we were the “happiest couple” in the section where we live. Our happiness is infectious, so we are told.
I encourage all of my single friends to keep on trying 100hookup, sometimes taking a break. It only takes one special someone to change your life.
Sincerely,
Anita and Harvey

Thanks for sharing your story! Its like the two of you, it made me laugh! the part about your mothers saying each one of you is perfect, is superb. I love it. Thanks for being such an inspiration

You are blessed…
Peace,happiness and love..
all the best to u both
U r both adorable and a beautiful couple. I lost my husband 3 and 1/2 years ago and have been out with lots of men, but have not lost the faith yet. It is a little scarey out there. Andi from Boca Raton
SO THRILLING TO SEE THAT SUCH A BEAUTIFUL COUPLE FOUND EACH OTHER!!
MUCH NACHAS ALWAYS !!!
I loved reading your story. I’m a widow and live here in Boynton Beach also. You have given me the strength to continue on 100hookup. Mostly I’ve met so many “clowns”, for want of a better, lady-like description, and it’s terribly discouraging. You’re so fortunate to have found each other. Mazel-tov and L’Shana Tovah.
