Michele and Eliot
Dear 100hookup,
When I read Michele’s profile, I was immediately taken by her obvious gift for self-expression, her zest for life, and her sense of humor. We corresponded by email for several weeks before we agreed to meet in person. I drove down to Louisville and, as soon as I met her, had the following reaction: Michele is wonderful – there’s no way she would be interested in me… Fortunately, I was wrong, and I will never be the same again.
I believe I can speak for both of us when I say that our first date was the best first date either of us had ever experienced. We instantly felt at ease with each other. The conversation never lagged, and sparks flew. Michele later wrote in her journal: ” I have just met the man I’m going to marry.” I don’t have a journal, but I was so bowled over by our first date that, in my bumbling attempt to drive home to Cincinnati, I found myself halfway to Fort Knox before I realized I was lost.
I proposed to Michele over dinner in Palm Beach, Florida by handing her my menu and asking her to read “the specials.” In advance, I had arranged with the waiter to have a poem I had written inserted into the menu. Amid sobs, she said “yes.”
More than a great beauty, Michele is a wonderful companion and my best friend. I credit 100hookup.com with introducing me to the love of my life. Thank you!
