Aurlee and Ariel
Dear 100hookup,
Aurlee and I live in different cities; heck, we live in different countries. I wasn’t even looking outside Portland to meet someone, but she contacted me from Vancouver, BC, Canada and expressed an interest in learning more about me. I read her profile and thought there was a definite possibility in getting to know her. We emailed back and forth a few times; I even sent her an “out of the blue” email once when I thought that maybe she had decided to move on. It turns out, she never got my last response, so it was a good thing I contacted her back. I flew up to Vancouver to meet her in person. I was pretty nervous; so was she. But we clicked almost immediately. We had a great time, running for the trolley, wandering around the aquarium, trying to get the Beluga whales to spit up on us. By the end of the evening, we were fast friends and definitely were headed to becoming more than that. She came down to Portland to visit me a couple of weeks later. By the end of her visit, we were crying; neither of us wanted her to leave. I went back to Vancouver over New Year’s, by which time we were deeply in love. We are now engaged and plan on being married in September 2001. Thank you for bringing us together!
