Dear 100hookup,
Rob and I had been on 100hookup for a few months, and our memberships were about to expire. We both had a lot of first dates that hadn’t gone very far and were ready to stop online dating. When we first met each other on 100hookup, we had low expectations because of the geographical distance between us. I lived in Ontario, and Rob lived in British Columbia.
We emailed each other every day for about two weeks and then decided to move our conversations to the telephone. After six weeks of talking and emailing each other, Rob flew out to Brampton, Ontario to meet me. We had an instant connection! For the next nine months, we flew back and forth between Ontario and British Columbia just to be together.
Rob and I had been talking about my moving to British Columbia about three months after we met. In May 2006, Rob bought a new home for us and proposed to me the next month. My son and I moved to British Columbia in July 2006, and we were married on April 5th of this year in Mexico. We’re still surprised that we found our soul mates online and are excited to spend the rest our lives together.
Tips for other 100hookuprs:
Keep an open mind and be willing to meet someone that may not live down the street.
