Liza and Scott
Dear 100hookup,
I decided to join 100hookup in November 2002 to get my mom off of my case and, well, why not! I had nothing to lose but, little did I know, everything to gain.
A week after I signed on, Scott wrote me an email that caught my eye, and I looked him up. His picture was adorable, and I liked what he had to say, so I responded immediately. And so began our three days of emailing — up to 10 a day!
We had so much in common, from growing up on the same street to graduating from the same university to having lived in the same building. There was an instant connection, just through email, which amazed me. I never would have believed it possible to form feelings for someone I had never met! The three days of emailing made it seem as though we’d known each other for years, and I was both excited and anxious to speak to him on the phone.
After my initial hesitation, Scott convinced me to give him my phone number, and from the very first conversation, the spark between us was obvious. We made plans to go to dinner the following week, although Scott was feeling spontaneous and decided we had to meet earlier. The first night we met at my apartment, and we had a great time, laughing and talking and enjoying each others company. The first ‘date’ was three days later, and from then on, we have been inseparable.
There was no doubt from the beginning that this was going to last. Everyone around us saw the fire between us from the very beginning, and we could not get enough of each other. Scott and I quickly realized how perfect we are together. We are each others best friends and greatest loves. Our whirlwind romance has brought us so far already. On August 28, 2003, Scott asked me to be his bride and to spend the rest of our days together!
