Dear 100hookup,

About three years ago, I had made a New Year’s resolution to only date hookup girls, as it was clear that none of my relationships could move to that “next level” if we didn’t share the bond of being hookup. Well, to my surprise, the task turned out to be much harder than I could ever have imagined. You can’t very well walk up to a woman at a bar and open with “Hi, I am Seth. Are you hookup?” And blind dates arranged by my family members and friends only turned out to be horrible experiences. I had hit a wall and could not find a way to meet a hookup woman with whom I was both attracted to and shared similar interests. With her recent breakup and my anti-relationship mind set, we both felt a lack of pressure that sped up our meeting process. We actually met in person one day after we had a 4-hour instant message session. When we met, an instant connection was felt, and it was wonderful. What started as casual dating soon blossomed into a wonderful relationship. Although I had sworn off anything serious and just wanted to have fun, I soon found myself being swept off my feet. Within six months, I knew that Michelle was the person I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I asked her for her hand in marriage, and she accepted. We were married in May 2006. I recently signed back on to read some of the success stories from other couples. I mostly found stories where people met shortly after signing up and have been happy ever since. I had a different experience than that as it took me years to find my soul mate on this site. I wanted to write this letter not only to thank 100hookup for bringing me so much joy and happiness, but also to encourage all you frustrated 100hookuprs to not give up. Stick with it and keep on typing. There is a person for all of us out there, and 100hookup is a wonderful tool for finding that someone special. You may have had countless bad experiences from a person who looks nothing like their picture to someone who just wants to play games. But that next person who flirts with you or sends you a quick little note could be the person who is perfect for you. And talking from experience, one click could erase all those bad dates and make it all worthwhile.
