Jennifer and Mitch
Dear 100hookup,
It began with a smile. I knew there was something different about Mitch when I saw his picture online over a year ago — it was all in his smile. It was warm and welcoming. I had to write to him, so I sent him a Flirt. I didn’t think I’d get a response, but I did, and pretty quickly too.
We emailed back and forth for a while, asking the standard questions about favorite colors, favorite foods and favorite music before we finally met. Our first date was supposed to be just drinks at Copeland’s in Rockville, Maryland, but when we met, we decided to have dinner together. I knew that night that there was something there, though I’m not certain if Mitch did. I wanted to see him again and hoped that he felt the same, and he did.
We had our second date the following week and shared our first kiss all because I offered him a mint that night (since we’d both had garlic in our meals at dinner). I found out that night that we had the same sense of humor as we both laughed at the jokes in “Along Came Polly.”
Our third date took place the week after that, and I found out that Mitch could cook since he made a delicious dinner for the both of us. I already knew that he was a keeper, but this sealed the deal. We had been dating steadily until February 19, 2005 when, on bended knee in front of my parents and his, he asked me to marry him. We were married on November 20, 2005, and I am so excited to have found my Beshert. Not only do I love him, but my family has welcomed him with open arms as well.
Many thanks to you guys!
