Of course! There is an option in your Match Preferences that allows you to set your ethnic preference.

Visit the Search page, then check the “Online Now” check box to only see members who are currently online. You can also see members online when looking at your Activity. A green circle will appear on a member’s profile card, showing that he/she is online.

Click on the member’s profile. Below their intro, you should see a box that contains various information about that user, including the Last Logged In field.

Your default search criteria is always based on your Match Preferences. You can modify your search at the top of the Search page or in the Refine Search fields on the left. However, the next time you visit 100hookup, your criteria will return to your defaults unless you change your Match Preferences.

On the Search page, you can filter your search results by Newest, Last Online, Closest, and Match %.

At the top of the Search page, click on the check box that reads “Profiles with photos only.” This will modify your search results to show only members who have uploaded a photo. You can also set this in your Match Preferences so that all future searches will only show members with photos.

Our first priority is to send you matches that are based on your Match Preferences. However we occasionally send through additional people that our system believes you may find interesting. A lot of great relationships have started via serendipity!

You absolutely have the right to change your mind! When viewing a particular member’s profile, you can alter your choice by clicking again on Yes, No or Maybe options. You can also accomplish this from the “Secret Admirer” Results page located in the top right of the “Secret Admirer” page.

You can change the preferences by clicking on the gear icon in the top right of the game page or also within your Account Settings. You can control the age range and location of your “Secret Admirer” matches.

If you indicate you want to be a “Secret Admirer” by choosing Yes to a member, an email will be sent to that member that includes your profile (along with others), prompting him/her to then choose Yes, No or Maybe. If he/she clicks Yes for your profile, you will both receive an email notification. Mutual “Secret Admirers” make excellent matches, so take advantage of this fun feature!

“Secret Admirer” is the original swipe-like game. One of the hardest parts of dating is rejection. “Secret Admirer” was built to help you avoid that. You can say that you’re interested in someone but they will only learn about that if they too indicate that they are interested in you. Otherwise, they will not find out.
Here’s how it works:

We show you members based off of your Match Preferences, and you select Yes, No, or Maybe. Additionally, any time you view a profile, you can click Yes, No or Maybe on a potential “Secret Admirer”. Then, here’s what happens:

1. If you say Yes, we’ll secretly find out if that member is interested in you.
2. If you say No, we won’t show you the member’s profile again in the game or in your Matches.
3. If you say Maybe, it means you’re not sure and would like to decide later.

100hookup will not let another member know ahead of time if you’ve said Yes, No, or Maybe to him/her in the “Secret Admirer” game. The only way he/she will ever find out is if you both pick Yes.

You can access your “Favorites” by clicking the “Favorites” link in the dropdown menu from your profile icon located in the top right corner of any page.

If you want to remove a “Favorite”, go to your “Favorites” list, then click on the highlighted star in that member’s profile card. The star will not be highlighted anymore and that member is no longer a “Favorite.”

If you “Favorited” a member from “Browse,” he/she won’t know. However, if you visit any profile they will know that you visited unless you have changed your Profile Display Settings to hide when you view other members.

Your “Favorite” list is a great way to bookmark members you might want to interact with later. Throughout the site, you have the option to “Favorite” a member by clicking the star icon on their profile and their profile cards. The member will then appear on your “Favorites” list, but will not receive any notification, unlike earlier versions of this feature. You can revisit your “Favorites” list to ponder all your potential matches.

Sometimes it feels safer to be incognito when you’re searching and looking at other 100hookupr’s profiles. Turning this on makes it so that others will not know you’ve looked at their profile until you actually contact them. Please note that this does not make your profile invisible, as members can see you if they look at their past searches, Match emails, or if they perform a keyword or photo gallery search. This ensures that a potential beshert can still find you!

To show or hide the appearance of your profile in certain sections of the site, visit the Profile Display Settings page, or follow these steps:

1. Click on your Profile thumbnail in the top right of any page
2. Click on the Account Settings link
3. Click on the Profile Display Settings link
4. Find the “Show/Hide When You View Members” option and select “Hide”

In order to view your profile, click on your Profile photo, then click “Edit Profile.” From the “Edit Profile” view, click on the button on the blue bar that says “Preview Profile.”

Yes. You can review your Blocked Users list located on the dropdown list from your Profile thumbnail in the upper right hand corner of any page. There, you can see if there are members you have accidentally blocked. If you would like to unblock a member, find that person on the list and press the unblock icon in the top right of their profile square. You will once again be able to communicate with that user and they will be able to find you in search. Remember, if you have blocked a user for a particular reason, give some serious thought to any change of heart and make sure that you truly want to communicate with that user.

You can remove or block a member in two ways:

1. In your Inbox on the left of any message sent by a member will be a circle with a line through it that will block that member from seeing your profile. Click on that circle
2. Or click the More icon (…) underneath a member’s profile picture and select “Block Member”

We want you to have a safe and enjoyable experience on 100hookup. To that end, you can report a member for suspicious activity, content, inappropriate messages, harassment or any other abusive behavior aimed at you or another member on the site. There are two ways to report:

1. In your Inbox on the left of any message sent by a member will be a circle with an exclamation point inside. Clicking on that circle will lead you to an online form you will need to fill out.
2. Or, click the More icon (…) underneath a member’s profile picture and select “Report.” You will be sent to a page where you can fill out an online report.

By using the “Report a Concern” link, we can more readily and accurately identify the account in question. The evidence you provide will allow us to take appropriate administrative action.

A member can’t see your profile if you block him/her. Only your past messages in his/her inbox will be visible to that member.
